Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody

TYPOGRAPHY

In 2013, I had some time between Freelance work, and felt unchallenged creatively. I decided to give myself a project to design a typographical poster of one song a week. “Bohemian Rhapsody” must have really “struck a chord” with people- As of February 4, 2016, this design has been re-pinned 231 times on Pinterest!

TYPOGRAPHY

Commissioned poster of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon”. Designed for a wooden background, but can be printed on other surfaces.

TYPOGRAPHY

Yes, this design is kinda crazy and all over the place, but I thought it was ok to mess with the typography because it fit the song. I listen to the Reel Big Fish cover all the time, and ska is so funky and literally offbeat so the poster reflects that. And yay for gifs!

Talkin’ New York

Talkin’ New York

TYPOGRAPHY

This poster is made with various song lyrics about NYC, specifically songs that mention a location in Manhattan so that it could act as a musical map of New York. I used mostly hand-lettering and I also took the photograph of the subway for the background.
Songs include:
Bob Dylan- “Talkin New York”.
Simon and Garfunkel- “59th Street Bridge Song”
Joni Mitchell- “Chelsea Morning”
